Coalition aircraft destroyed three "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant"(ISIL) positions in al-Shura, south of Mosul, on Thursday (September 15th), killing dozens of the group's fighters, the Iraqi Ministry of Defence said.
"International coalition airstrikes targeted ISIL posts, including a local rocket launcher, a tunnel and a gathering of the group in al-Shura," ministry spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Rasul told Diyaruna.
"At least 25 terrorists, including foreign fighters, were killed in the airstrikes," he said.
