Teams from various Iraqi ministries in Fallujah have succeeded in restoring drinking water service completely and electricity to half of the city, Fallujah's mayor said Friday (August 19th).
The Ministry of Municipalities and Works, the Ministry of Electricity and the Ministry of Irrigation took part in the effort.
“Other teams are removing debris and clearing the city of explosives before allowing residents to return to their normal life in town away from 'Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant' (ISIL) killers,” Fallujah mayor Issa al-Sayer told Diyaruna.
