Iraqi police arrested an "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) leader in northern Baghdad, the Iraqi Interior Ministry said Monday (July 17th).
"Police forces on Monday morning launched a special operation and arrested a terrorist in charge of transporting ISIS terrorists and overseeing rest houses in al-Taji, north of Baghdad," ministry spokesman Brig. Gen. Saad Maan told Diyaruna.
"Six improvised explosive devices (IEDs), light and medium weapons, 350 explosive charges were seized at the house where he was arrested," he said.
