Iraqi forces have arrested those responsible for facilitating the entry of "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) bombers into Karbala province to attack a wedding party, provincial officials said Wednesday (August 31st).

On Tuesday (August 29th), five ISIL elements attacked a wedding party in Ain al-Tamr, killing 18 people and wounding dozens more.

“The security forces have today arrested the group that facilitated the entry of terrorists to Ain Tamr district in the province,” Karbala first deputy governor Jassim al-Fatlawi said during a press conference.

“The operation was based on accurate intelligence,” he said.
