Coalition aircraft killed at least 20 "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) fighters west of Mosul near the Syria border, Ninawa Operations Command said Thursday (August 25th).

“An airstrike launched by international coalition fighter jets targeted a meeting of senior ISIL leaders at a building in al-Hod, a village near the Syria border, 110 kilometres west of Mosul, killing at least 20 terrorists and destroying four vehicles parked near the place, along with various weapons and ammunition,” Ninawa Operations Commander Nejim Edin Karim al-Jubury told Diyaruna.

“Suicide bombers preparing to carry out suicide operations are among those killed,” he said.
