Iraqi forces killed 15 "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) gunmen in two separate security operations in western Anbar Thursday (June 9th), the Ministry of Interior said.
"Joint forces, acting on intelligence, carried out two operations in al-Dolab and Tuwaisa," ministry spokesman Brig. Gen. Saad Maan told Al-Shorfa.
"They clashed with the armed group for several hours before killing 13 of them in al-Dolab and two in Tuwaisa," he said, adding that weapons and other items were seized in the operations.
