Iraqi forces gain ground against ISIS in Rawa

Iraqi forces on Tuesday (November 14th) liberated three villages and the industrial area near the city of Rawa as they advance against the "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) there.

"Iraqi forces have made new progress by retaking three villages located along the Euphrates river and the industrial area, and are now about to destroy ISIS's last defence lines," Anbar Operations Commander Maj. Gen. Mahmoud al-Falahi told Diyaruna.

International coalition and Iraqi warplanes destroyed ISIS camps, headquarters and gatherings in Wadi al-Qadhf and the Kilo 160 desert in Anbar, killing dozens of ISIS elements, he said.
