Iraqi security forces raided a terrorist hideout in the al-Karma district of Anbar province on Friday (September 22nd) in a pre-emptive security operation, the Iraqi Interior Ministry said.
Three would-be suicide bombers were killed in the raid, ministry spokesman Brig. Gen. Saad Maan told Diyaruna.
"In co-operation with the Intelligence Falcons Cell, the Iraqi forces killed three suicide bombers, including a non-Iraqi, inside a building in al-Karma, north-west of Baghdad," he said.
"Iraqi forces found three explosive vests and weapons in their possession," he said, noting that they were preparing to attack religious visitors.
