Iraqi security forces nabbed an "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) suspect wanted on terrorism charges in Baghdad's al-Mansour neighbourhood, the Ministry of Interior said Wednesday (July 12th).
Security forces monitored "a dangerous ISIS member who is wanted by several courts for various terrorist attacks", the ministry said in a statement.
"We tracked him after he entered in disguise into al-Mansour neighbourhood where he headed to a restaurant," the statement added.
The suspect is wanted by the Southern Rasafa Counter-Terrorism and Intelligence department for his role in several terrorist acts, it said.
