Iraqi forces arrested five terror suspects, including a senior member of the "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL), during a joint operation in Salaheddine province, police said Monday (July 18th).
A joint police-army force arrested the suspects wanted in connection with various terrorist operations and bombings, Salaheddine police spokesman Hasan al-Majmaie told Al-Shorfa.
“The five were arrested yesterday and today in various areas of Salaheddine province,” he said, adding that one of them was a "senior ISIL element called Abu Mansour whose arrest is extremely important given the information he will provide during investigations".
