Iraqi forces seized explosive materials in a joint security operation in west Baghdad, the Interior Ministry said on Monday (April 24th).
"Joint Iraqi forces have seized two explosive vests in an operation targeting an 'Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant' [ISIL] cell hideout in al-Okaidat in western Baghdad," ministry spokesman Brig. Gen. Saad Maan told Diyaruna.
"Explosives and two shoulder-mounted rockets also were seized," he said, adding that four suspects found inside the building were arrested and are now undergoing interrogation.
