Iraqi planes dropped flags and millions of leaflets over the city of Mosul detailing the recent victories of government forces, the Iraqi Ministry of Defence said Thursday (July 7th).
“The leaflets include news on victories achieved by our armed forces in Fallujah and northern Salaheddine, and news on the defeats of 'Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant' (ISIL) gangs," the ministry said in a statement obtained by Mawtani.
The information also includes instructions for citizens to steer clear of ISIL outposts in the city.
