Three farmers were killed and five others were wounded in a Thursday (June 2nd) blast in al-Zaidan area in Abu Ghraib, the Iraqi police in Abu Ghraib said.
"An improvised explosive device (IED) exploded near a group of farmers who were gathered by a centre for delivering crops and fertilisers, killing three farmers and wounding five others," assistant Abu Ghraib police chief Lt. Col. Kamal Abdul Wahed told Al-Shorfa.
"The blast bears the fingerprints of the 'Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant' (ISIL)," he said.
