4 ISIS elements killed near Syria border

Four "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) elements, including a suicide bomber, were killed Monday evening (April 8th) in an army operation north of Wadi Houran, near the Syria border, the al-Badiya and al-Jazeera Operations Command said.

"Joint forces surrounded four ISIS militants who were forced out of their hideout north of Wadi Houran because of floods and rain," Brig. Gen. Riyadh al-Dulaimi, assistant commander of the Command’s army operations, told Diyaruna.

Security forces clashed with the militants who were killed in the operation, he said, adding that one of them was wearing an explosive vest which was later dismantled.
