Iraqi authorities have taken down 88 social media accounts promoting terror groups, the Iraqi Security Media Centre said on Tuesday (December 25th).
"A technical team from the Technology and Information Directorate of the Interior Ministry’s Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency has taken down 88 social media accounts promoting terror groups and their extremist ideology," spokesman Maj. Gen. Saad Maan said in a statement.
"These accounts have also been promoting weapons sales on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram," he said.
