The Iraqi police busted a gang specialising in drug trafficking and dealing in al-Rutba, Anbar province, with 28,750 narcotic pills in their possession, the Anbar police command said Thursday (September 27th).
"Security forces arrested five members of a dangerous gang engaged in dealing and smuggling drugs into Iraq to sell to young people," Anbar police chief Maj. Gen. Hadi Kassar Erzaij told Diyaruna.
"The gang members were arrested in Armila in al-Rutba district," he said, noting that "they were referred to investigation immediately".
