Iraqi warplanes have destroyed several "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) positions in eastern Syria's al-Hasakeh province, Iraq's Joint Operations Command said Monday (May 14th).
“Iraqi F-16 fighter jets have pounded an ISIS command and logistical support centre south of al-Dashisha, inside Syria, fully destroying it,” the command said in a statement.
The airstrikes were based on confirmed intelligence, it said, noting that further details of the raid would be announced at a later date.
