An "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) leader in Mosul was arrested in the eastern part of the city, the Ninawa Operations Command said Friday (May 4th).
"Saad Nasser, also known as Abu Abdul Rahman al-Ansari, an Iraqi citizen, was arrested in Sumar neighbourhood," Commander Nejim Eddin Karim al-Jubury told Diyaruna.
"He has been involved in various terrorist crimes in Mosul," he said, noting that he was arrested in an ambush set up in co-operation with his own relatives.
