Joint Iraqi forces dismantled an explosives workshop in southern Baghdad Wednesday (September 13th), the Baghdad Operations Command said.
"Joint police-army forces found a workshop containing 175 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) [...], 17 containers for rigging vehicles with explosives and a detonation fuse in al-Arsan, southern Baghdad," the command said in a statement.
"The workshop also contained tools for mixing and packing ammonium nitrate, 60 kilogrammes of ammonium nitrate and two vehicles packed with explosives," the statement said.
Iraqi forces successfully dismantled the workshop, which was located in a deserted house, it said.
