Iraqi forces killed two "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) suicide bombers at an Anbar province crossing, the Ministry of Defence said Thursday (May 11th).
"The army's 8th Division has thwarted a suicide attempt by two ISIS elements wearing explosive vests in a vehicle packed with explosives at al-Razaza crossing on their way to Ameriyat al-Fallujah in Anbar," the ministry said in a statement.
The army blew up the vehicle and killed those on board, the ministry said, noting that it is in the process of identifying the suicide bombers.
