An Iraqi airstrike killed four "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) members and destroyed a weapons cache in an airstrike east of Ramadi, the Iraqi Ministry of Defence said Monday (August 15th).
The strike occurred in the Albu Bali area of al-Khalidiya Island, the ministry said in a statement.
“A fire could be seen blazing for a long time at the cache,” the statement said.
“The operations are part of the phase of clearing and dismantling ISIL remnants who are hiding in orchards and forests in the area,” the statement said.
