The Iraqi police arrested an "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) element who was involved in transporting suicide bombers to Baghdad, the Baghdad Operations Command said Tuesday (June 14th).
"In a carefully-planned security operation, a force from the Federal Police’s 8th Brigade, 3rd Regiment, arrested a wanted terrorist serving as a ‘transporter’ of suicide bombers to Baghdad," the command said in a statement.
"The arrest took place in an ambush set up near the swing bridge in al-Kadhimiya," the statement said.
