3 ISIS elements arrested in Mosul

Three "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) elements who had served with the group's "Soldiers’ Office" have been arrested in western Mosul, the Iraqi Interior Ministry said Monday (September 16th).

Ninawa police forces arrested the suspects, one of whom confessed to having served at the so-called Abu Obaida bin al-Jarrah Battalion during ISIS's occupation of Mosul, ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Saad Maan said in a statement.

The suspects were arrested in the area of Rajm Hadid in western Mosul, he added.
