The 46th session of the Baghdad International Book Fair in Mansour kicked off on Thursday (February 7th) with the participation of hundreds of Arab and foreign publishing houses.
"The fair is held on an area of 10,000 square metres with separate sections featuring thousands of books in different fields from a variety of sources," the Ministry of Culture said in a statement.
The 12-day event will see the participation of 650 Arab and foreign publishing houses from 23 countries, it said.
