The nucleus of a terror cell has been dismantled in Anbar’s provincial capital of Ramadi, the Iraqi Ministry of Defence's Military Intelligence Directorate said in a statement Wednesday (December 5th).
The 10th Division’s 38th Infantry Brigade of the Military Intelligence Directorate penetrated a group of three militants who comprised the nucleus of a terror cell that had been operating secretly, it said.
"Our units dismantled the cell and arrested all members in al-Zangura, Ramadi," the statement said.
"The cell members are all wanted according to article 4 of the anti-terrorism law," the statement said, adding that "the units uncovered an ammunition hideout in Albu Kanaan in Anbar, seizing 46 mortars".
