Intelligence agents arrest ISIS logistics provider in Ninawa

Iraqi authorities announced on Monday (November 26th) the capture of an "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) logistics provider during a security operation in Ninawa province, Iraqi News reported.

"Troops of the 20th division of the Military Intelligence Directorate have arrested an ISIS militant on charges of supplying the terrorist group with logistics in al-Qayyarah district" in southern Ninawa, the directorate said in a statement.

"The terrorist was wanted on terror-related charges pursuant to article no. 4 of the anti-terrorism law," it said.

Earlier in the day, security forces apprehended a female ISIS militant while hiding at a refugee camp in Mosul.

The woman, code-named as Umm al Dawaesh (or the mother of ISIS militants), was responsible for delivering foodstuffs to ISIS elements at their hideouts, according to intelligence reports.
