A workshop for rigging vehicles with explosives and making improvised explosive devices (IEDs) has been found in Salaheddine province, the Iraqi Ministry of Defence said on Monday (July 16th).
The Salaheddine Operations Command security forces carried out several operations to clear a number of areas in northern Salaheddine of "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) remnants, ministry spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Rasoul told Diyaruna.
They found a workshop for making IEDs and a house rigged with explosives, he said.
"Military uniforms, detonators, as well as electric generators and medical supplies were also found," he said.
