Nine wanted terror suspects have been arrested over the past hours in several areas of Anbar province, the Anbar Operations Command announced on Monday (March 5th).
"Joint army-police forces have arrested nine Iraqi terror suspects for whom arrest warrants had been issued for various terrorism-related charges," commander Maj. Gen. Mahmoud al-Falahi told Diyaruna.
Most charges included belonging to the "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) and committing crimes when the group occupied a number of cities in the province, he said.
"The forces seized weapons and explosives, as well as various information found on CDs in the detainees' possession," he said.
