Three "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) elements have been arrested in a joint army-police operation in central Fallujah, the Iraqi Interior Ministry said Tuesday (December 5th).
"Security forces on Monday night arrested three ISIS elements in an operation in central Fallujah," ministry spokesman Brig. Gen. Saad Maan told Diyaruna.
The three were using a house in the central town area as a headquarters, he said, adding that they had aliases and fake IDs.
"Light weapons and a device containing important information confirming their involvement in terrorist operations also were seized," he said.
