Iraqi forces uncovered a plant the "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) was using to make chlorine gas in Anbar province, the Ministry of Defence said Friday (November 17th).
"The Military Intelligence Directorate has found a plant for making the poisonous chlorine gas, which is used in making improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and other explosives, in al-Jaghaifi 2, north of Fallujah," the ministry said in a statement.
The discovery was part of ongoing efforts to remove all traces of ISIS from the province, the statement said.
