45 ISIS elements killed in coalition strikes in Anbar

International coalition warplanes shelled an "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) convoy in the desert, south of Kubaysa, in Anbar province, the commander of the Iraqi Army’s 7th Division, Maj. Gen. Abd al-Zawbaie, said Friday (September 29th).

"Forty-five ISIS elements were killed and 69 vehicles were destroyed in the airstrikes," he said in a statement.

"The terrorist group was planning to attack safe areas in Anbar, but its criminal plots were foiled," he said.
