International coalition warplanes, in co-ordination with Iraqi forces in Anbar, have targeted two "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) positions in al-Qaim, near the border with Syria, and destroyed them, the Anbar Operations Command said Thursday (September 28th).
The first target, located in Makr al-Thib, contained at least 10 ISIS elements and various weapons and assets, said command spokesman Col. Mohammed al-Dulaimi.
The other target, located in Husayba, "had a stock of about 300 short-range rockets that were all destroyed", he said.
