The Iraqi army arrested two wanted "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) elements in a security operation in west Baghdad on Wednesday (May 3rd), the Joint Operations Command said.
"The 6th Division forces launched a search and raid operation and arrested two wanted ISIS terrorists -- Wahid Saadi and Khamees Fayyad -- involved in several terrorist operations," command spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Rasul told Diyaruna.
"The operation took place in al-Shiha in west Baghdad, after citizens informed the authorities about spotting the two elements in the area," he said, noting that weapons found in their possession were also seized.
