Baghdad car bomb kills 6: police

A car bomb exploded in an industrial area of south Baghdad on Tuesday (February 14th), killing at least six people, Iraqi police said.

The blast was caused by a parked car bomb in an industrial area next to a car maintenance workshop in al-Bayaa neighbourhood, Lt. Col. Falah Taleb al-Sudani told Diyaruna.

At least six people were killed and 13 wounded, including two children, he said.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast.

Nearly all suicide attacks in Iraq are claimed by the "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL).
