Airstrikes destroy ISIL training camp on Syria border

Coalition airstrikes have destroyed a large "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) training camp near the Syrian border, the Anbar Operations Command said Monday (November 14th).

"The international coalition has destroyed an ISIL training camp in al-Wadi al-Abyadh area near the Syrian border, west of Anbar," Anbar Military Operations commander Maj. Gen. Ismail al-Mahalawi told Diyaruna.

The airstrikes killed at least 40 ISIL elements and destroyed weapons, assets, trucks and smaller vehicles, he said, noting that the strikes were co-ordinated with Iraqi forces.
