Iraqi aircraft destroyed an "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) bomb-making workshop in Rawah, western Anbar, the Ministry of Defence said Friday (October 7th).
"The Iraqi air force on Thursday evening destroyed a workshop in Rawah used in rigging vehicles with explosives and making improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and landmines," the ministry said in a statement.
"Several terrorists inside the workshop were killed in the airstrike," the statement said, noting that the operation was based on intelligence provided by the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security.
