6 ISIL members killed in Heet

Coalition aircraft killed six "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) elements in Heet, the Iraqi army’s al-Jazeera and al-Badiya Command in Anbar province said Friday (July 29th).

The airstrike targeted an ISIL gathering in al-Qir, western Heet, and “four vehicles carrying weapons, a rocket launcher, a large weapons and ammunition cache, and three mortars used by ISIL to target areas in central Heet, which has been liberated, were also destroyed in the airstrike,” al-Jazeera and al-Badiya Commander Maj. Gen. Qassim al-Muhammadi said in a statement.
