Coalition fighter jets launched 17 airstrikes over the past 24 hours on selected "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) targets in northern and western Iraq, the Iraqi Interior Ministry said Tuesday (July 12th).
“International coalition fighter jets destroyed 19 ISIL targets in 17 airstrikes on cities and areas controlled by ISIL,” ministry spokesman Brig. Gen. Saad Maan told Al-Shorfa.
“The targets included rocket launchers, ISIL convoys, gatherings and sites, and two bomb-making plants,” he said.
“The airstrikes have caused major human and material losses to the group,” he said.
